IVAN NAVARRO

I particularly like the use of lighting in art exhibits, but the fact the Ivan composes his entire sculptures in neon lights and florescent bulbs makes me enjoy his works even more. The vibrant lighting protruding of these pieces in a completely black room makes you enjoy the simplicity of what they are actually portraying. Some of them such as the "no dunking'" reminds me of something out of the
"Tron" movie. The whole city was outlined in neon shapes. If you enjoy Ivan Navarro deffinetyl consider watching this movie.

Woodcraft

This is David Adamo Venue at Nelson Freeman, Paris

The way Adamo carves deep into the wood gives the sculpture a sense of weightlessness which i found quite intriguing. I was surprised to see that to wood was able to stabilize itself looking as fragile as it does. There was no background or detailed information on this piece but thought it was great that the artist include the wood shavings and held these sculptures on a all white room, it really made them stand out and almost come to life.
